Good Deed Award Winner…The July Good Deed recognition award went to Sergio Briseño in Warehouse Operations. RCI employees chose Sergio for his leadership during the multitude of special projects taking place this summer. Sergio’s “Can-Do” attitude is contagious, which explains why he has been able to take on the added responsibility and motivate his peers at the same time. Thank you and congratulations, Sergio! For those of you boxing records for RCI file-level indexing…Please mark the outside of each container with a range of the contents. Including such information is helpful when in search of a record. Whether the need for search occurs prior to your pickup or soon after, this ensures that the record is found quickly and efficiently. For example an alpha-range indicates that the records inside are ordered alphabetically (i.e. ABR-BRA). A numerical or sequence range, such as 1001-1021, indicates that the contents are ordered sequentially. For added security, the range information may be entered into RSWeb. email Customer Service for assistance with this feature at (602) 258-4000. Friendly Reminder Regarding Boxing Records…Refiles or records already tracked at the file-level, should be boxed separately from NEW files. Refiles are processed and scanned in to the record center upon arrival, and if they are mixed with NEW files, it could cause a delay in scanning and and/or servicing the record should you need to recall it. email Customer Service with any questions about this process at (602) 258-4000. |
